Next stop at the end of June will be to visit family in a quaint little town of Marshall , Michigan where we have family. It has such historical character and buildings. Very slow paced and absolutely relaxing. Lots of farms, and antique shops, old fashioned bakeries and soda fountains. One of my favorite restaurants that is also a long standing mark in the community (my parents got engaged there) is Win Schulers. Its Like a step back in time. Cheers you all and I hope you enjoy your summer break!!

Whats my story?
The ME info
Hello! Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Marisa Hartzell. Born the only girl in a family of 5 boys (4 plus one "adopted") in the great city of South Bend, Indiana ( Yes, I'm a Yankee...GO IRISH!!) No really, although I do like the team the only thing that even draws my attention about sports is the team colors. Weird I know for a girl raised amongst a tribe of men. Politics and Sports just don't hold a lot of conversation interest with me. I love having a big family and the highlight of each year is the 25 of us spending Christmas together in a Chalet in Georgia for a week.
The Tribe. My parents, brothers and their families
Family
I am very happily married to my wonderful husband for over 15 years. He is my dearest friend, and wisest man I've ever known. Pretty easy on the eyes to. Ok, moving along before you click off the page. I am a momma to three fabulous kids 13, 9, and a 7yr old. I homeschool my oldest going on 3 years and I LOVE it! We try and teach them morals /Character through talking with them and doing our best to be "Living" examples of how we should conduct our lives. We want to raise children who are godly, respectful, have good character, confidence and loving.
I do "Make Scents."
I've always adored candles and bath products. So, in 2001 I bought a "candle kit" from an online supplier, and made my first batch of Orange Chiffon scented candles. I was so proud. I thought they turned our awesome. Looking back they were actually pretty pathetic, but were enough to get me addicted. I've now been making them and have had my own business making soy candles and soaps, etc., for 12 years. Make Scents Co. is hectic during the holiday season, but still my passion.
Tea & Sympathy
I LOVE coffee and tea! I actually have quite a teacup collection. I especially love vintage ones that are thin and delicate. I have many from Germany, France, and England. I especially love Bavarian cups. I have several late 1800 early 1900. I like color and design. AND believe it or not I use them! Why let someone who inherits them crack them up? :) I wanna use the china for my own family and crack it myself enjoying it with those who matter most. I let the kids pick their favorite cups and we have tea together quite often. Even my Minecraft-playing rowdy boys enjoy it, but sshhh dont tell thier buddies. I enjoy girly things, although with 5 boys growing up I can hang with the lot of them and take care of things instead of waiting for the man of the house to come home. HA
Finally.. .
Pinterest is my time stealer, I find it much more relaxing than Facebook and its soapbox status updates. I love trying new things and living life to its fullest. It makes me happy to see all the DIY and crafty stuff on there. It feels good to know people are still interested in creating their own things with their brain cells.
I'm very excited about this new step of starting school during this time
of my life. I won't lie and say I'm not a little hesitant and nervous,
because I know it will be a challenge for me. I am, however, willing to
give it my best shot!
